This Shrine in the Mohawk Territory of Kahnawake, in the St. Francis-Xavier Mission (1720), is dedicated to Saint Kateri Tekakwitha, the first North American Indigenous person to be canonized, on October 12, 2012. It is where her tomb is located and where, on April 17, her Feast is celebrated.
