Covering 4,460.8 square kilometres (1,722.3 sq. mi.), this park extends from Ungava Bay to the crests of Mount Caubvick (Mont D’Iberville in Québec) ‘the highest peak in eastern North America, rising to 1,646 metres (about 5,400 ft.)’ crisscrossed by the majestic Koroc River, whose shores are lined with countless archeological gems.
